Here is the Policy doc in pdf and link to the ‘Fit For Work’ Policy the Gov have contracted Maximus to implement.

When I first downloaded it it was called ‘New Health and Work Service’  Now its Just Fit for Work.

This is the new policy where Maximus take over if you are likely to be off sick for more than 4 weeks.

You are likely to get a phone call from maximus and can no longer get sick notes from your GP.

The devil is in the detail, which is very scant.

BUT THERE IS TALK OF CONDITIONALITY, COERSION IF YOU READ BETWEEN THE LINES.

One has to remember that the Tories use Orwellian Doublespeak.  Changing our language etc.

ie no longer sick people, no sick notes, just Fit Notes.  Our society no longer has sick people.  Sickness is being covertly removed from all documentation etc……
